Last week I had the honour of attending the Partnerships Awards for a fantastic evening celebrating all the incredible achievements within the PPP industry. The awards, now in their 21st year, remain the biggest event in the industry calendar and provide a fantastic opportunity to network with industry professionals from across the UK and Europe.
This was my third year attending the ceremony, but my first as part of the Imagile Professional Services (IPSL) team. As many people will already know, I recently left my role at Partnerships Bulletin, so it was fascinating to see things from a different perspective this year as a guest rather than an organiser.
IPSL on the big stage
This year IPSL proudly sponsored the ‘Legal Advisor of the Year’ award and that represents a huge milestone in the growth of the firm over the last two years. The success of IPSL has been built on providing objective, expert advice and a range of professional services for our clients and more than 1,400 projects have been completed since 2017.
Sponsoring this award and having such a strong turnout of employees and clients involved with both IPSL and MAMG Consultancy is a real statement of intent from us and it’s the firm’s ambition to continue pushing forward that really convinced me to join.
As part of my new role as Business Development Manager at IPSL, I’ll be supporting the continued expansion and growth of the firm and a huge part of this involves maintaining and building trusted relationships with industry figures. I believe that these relationships are key to ensuring IPSL can continue delivering high quality, innovative services to our clients.
Looking to the future
This year was one of the largest awards ever held by Partnerships Bulletin, with over 750 people in attendance. Each year I’m extremely impressed by everything the industry is able to achieve and it’s fantastic to see everyone coming together to support and recognise this success.
The awards were a chance for me to start sharing the IPSL story with more people and I can’t wait to build on that in the weeks and months ahead. This event truly is the only time so many leading figures have the opportunity to come together and celebrate all the great work taking place across our industry.
There’s no better way to appreciate the work being done than to speak to those involved first-hand. I’m looking forward to what this next year will bring for both myself and for IPSL.
